Daisy Ridley attached to movie adaptation of CHAOS WALKING book trilogy

The Force Awakens’ Daisy Ridley will hit the YA movie circuit with THE KNIFE OF NEVER LETTING GO, the first of the CHAOS WALKING trilogy.

Fans of Patrick Ness‘ thrilling dystopian trilogy will be excited to know that the first casting announcement has been made for The Knife of Never Letting Go, the first of the Chaos Walking book trilogy. Earlier today, it was revealed that Daisy Ridley, star of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has signed on for the movie!

Ridley has already won an MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance, an Empire Award for Best Female Newcomer, and a Teen Choice Award for Best Breakout Star for her role in The Force Awakens. So, this alone could bring people to theaters to watch another dystopian film.

Her role in the film hasn’t been announced, but if you’ve read the book, you might have an idea of who she’ll be playing.

Doug Limon (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow) is signed on to direct the movie. The latest script was penned by Jamie Linden (We Are Marshall, Money Monster.) Allison Shearmur (The Hunger Games movies, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Doug Davison (How to Train Your Dragon movies) are producing.
