Actress Daniella Pineda joins the star-studded cast of the sequel to JURASSIC WORLD!
Daniella Pineda is heading to Jurassic World. The Detour actress will play a lead role in the film’s sequel, though specific details about her role haven’t been announced.
Pineda will join Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt in the upcoming film. Toby Jones, Justice Smith, and Rafe Spall have also recently joined the cast.
The sequel has a tough act to follow after Jurassic World set an opening weekend record in the box office. Its debut in the US made a whopping $208.8 million dollars, crowning the film opening weekend king until The Force Awakens came around.
Daniella Pineda has also appeared in The Originals and HBO’s High Maintenance. This will be her first role with a major studio movie. She also tweeted about her excitement (and used plenty of emojis):
