Netflix announces DAREDEVIL Season 2 release date… and it’s earlier than expected!
Call it the Sistine Chapel Of Pain. Daredevil is taking us through all the pain and horror in Hell’s Kitchen in a new teaser featuring artwork of what was in Season 1 and what’s to come in the show’s typical fashion– gritty, bloody, and all cracked up. The teaser also announces the Season 2 release date, which is earlier than the initial time frame Marvel suggested: March 18, 2016!
There’s no actual show footage involved in this preview, but the art direction and intense spirit of it all is so great that we really don’t mind. Plus, we know that we’ll be getting plenty of new peeks closer to the release date!
Official Season 2 Synopsis:
Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.
Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as THE PUNISHER, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood.
