Darkness covers it all in the first teaser for Season 3 of Netflix’s DAREDEVIL!

The first teaser for Marvel’s Daredevil debuted at the end of Iron Fist, the latter available to stream on Netflix now.

In the teaser, darkness seems to be the principal theme of the scene, both literally and figuratively, as Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) can be barely seen in a dimlight confessional booth talking in a grim tone. In the video, Murdock says:

“I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law, and in the light of day. But I was fooling myself. Darkness only responds to darkness. And the thing is, I’d rather die as the Devil than live as Matt Murdock.”

Murdock, who is presumed dead by the public eye after the events of The Defenders but is later seen being taken care of by nuns and apparently his mother Maggie, seems to be taking a darker, more violent mood after his recovery.

Season 3 of Daredevil doesn’t have a release date yet, but is expected to be out before the ending of 2018.
