Darren Criss Joins THE FLASH/SUPERGIRL Musical Crossover

Darren Criss’ character explains why everyone will be singing in THE FLASH/SUPERGIRL crossover!

It looks like The Flash and Supergirl stars Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist just weren’t enough Glee nostalgia for the musical crossover event between the two shows, so fellow alumni Darren Criss has been added in as villain.

In “Duet,” Criss will play Music Meister, a previously bullied singer whose metahuman abilities allow him to hypnotize others with his songs, according to TV Line. It seems like he’ll be able to make them sing, as well.

Previously, Neil Patrick Harris voiced Music Meister for an episode of the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Other than the three Glee alums, Jesse L. Martin, Victor Garber, Carlos Valdes, Jeremy Jordan, and John Barrowman— all of whom have previous experience on Broadway– are expected to sing in the crossover.

“Duet” airs March 20th and March 21st on The CW.
