Entertainment Weekly reported that Fox has renewed the on-the-bubble DC Comics series GOTHAM for a fourth season.
Fox had the DC series Gotham, along with some other shows, on the bubble for a possible cancellation, however, they’ve renewed the DC Comics series for season 4.
Even with the return of the maniacal character Jerome Valeska (brilliantly acted by Cameron Monaghan) early on in the season, Gotham was among the group of shows that was on the fence for cancellation (APB and Scream Queens were not so lucky.) However, Fox decided to give Gotham another season as it outperformed both APB and Scream Queens, as well as the also renewed The Exorcist.
Other Fox shows that were cancelled this season were Rosewood, Sleepy Hollow, Making History, and Son of Zorn.
As for the rest of the third season, there are now four more episodes left, including next week’s “Heroes Rise: All Will Be Judged,” with photos of the episode shown below.
Temple Shaman takes Bruce to the next phase of his training; Gordon and Bullock discover a crystal owl that carries the biggest secrets of Gotham’s underworld; Nygma and Penguin must work together to get out of a tricky situation.
The DC Comics series Gotham airs Mondays at 8pm on Fox.
