DC’s Streaming Service Will Launch On National Batman Day [Naturally]

For those eagerly awaiting a date for the launch of DC’s digital service platform, DC Universe, we now have an answer.

The DC Universe Streaming Service will officially launch on Batman Day! For those out there who aren’t super nerds, let me put this in layman terms – the DC Universe Streaming Service will launch Saturday, Sept. 15.

Wondering what this streaming service will entail? DC Universe will give subscribers access to exclusive content. Content like all-new original live-action and animated series like Young Justice: Outsiders, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, and Harley Quinn, classic TV series like Wonder Woman starring Lynda Carter, films like the Superman films starring Christopher Reeve, and more. For example, DC’s newest live action series, Titans, will air exclusively Friday, Oct. 12, on DC Universe, It will also serve as home for DC Daily, a new daily news show focused on all things DC. This show will be hosted by John Barrowman, Samm Levine and Harley Quinn Smith.

So how much will this subscription cost you? $7.99 per month or $74.99 annually.

In anticipation of this exciting launch, DC Universe will also be offering “The Ultimate Batman Studio Tour Sweepstakes” to its subscribers. One lucky fan will win the chance to visit Warner Bros. Studios, take the fancy official WB Studio Tour, visit DC headquarters, and ride in the Batmobile. Oh, and as if those weren’t enough, he or she will also walk away with an awesome cool prize package.
