The cover has been released for the new illustrated version of HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS
Since the early 00s, people have been in love with the Harry Potter series, which was developed and created by J.K. Rowling. Rowling’s books swept the nation and were soon formed into movies which we all loved. But now with the books written, the movies watched, we need more. We need an illustrated version of Harry Potter and that is exactly what Jim Kay gave to us last October when he released the illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone; and, he will do this once again with the second book in the series, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
The illustrations in the first book were fabulous with Kay, the illustrator, working closely with J.K. Rowling to get the perfect drawing. And now, with months passing since the release of the first one, the cover of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is revealed and amazing.
And we are not the only ones amazed by Kay’s drawings.
“Seeing Jim Kay’s illustrations moved me profoundly,” Rowling said. “I love his interpretation of Harry Potter’s world, and feel honoured and grateful that he has lent his talents to it.”
Bloomsbury and Scholastic are planning on releasing the new book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, on October 4 and it will include 115 color images.
So sit tight and wait for October to approach; and, maybe check out the first illustrated Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
