YA supernatural thriller BREAK MY HEART 1,000 TIMES adds to new cast members!
The movie adaptation of Break My Heart 1,000 Times, based on the YA novel of the same name by Daniel Waters, has added two new cast members.
The film follows Veronica (Bella Thorne, who was previously cast) and her friend Kirk Lane as they discover ghostly figures known as Remnants that were created from a cataclysmic event. They learn that the Remnants aren’t disappearing, but instead growing stronger. They also realize that Veronica is in danger and need to find out why.
Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, Shameless) and Richard Harmon (The 100) have joined the supernatural thriller, according to Variety. Mulroney will play August Bittner, a professor and Remnant expert who has a special father-like relationship with Veronica. Richard Harmon will play Kirk, Veronica’s friend who helps her through the surprising Remnant threat and serves as her love interest.
The film is in the early stages of shooting in Winnipeg, Canada and Bella Thorne shared the first photos of herself dressed up as Veronica on-set, complete with black locks and straight bangs.
Break My Heart 1,000 Times is expected out sometime in 2018.
