Devon Graye Cast as Axel Walker in THE FLASH, plus Midseason Premiere Trailer

News abounds as it has been announced that Devon Graye from Showtime series Dexter will appear in the as-yet-untitled 17th episode of The Flash. He’ll be playing Axel Walker, also known as The Trickster.  As noted in a previous post, Mark Hamill was to reprise the James Jesse version of The Trickster, which is not unusual with comic book characters that there is more than one person having the same named alias.

That episode is still a few weeks away, however, so we’ll focus on the midseason premiere episode, “Revenge of the Rogues,” which brings us the return of Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller), aka Captain Cold.  This time, he’s brought a partner with him, which was hinted at in the end of the fourth episode, “Going Rogue.”  The partner is Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), aka Heat Wave.

Not only are these bad boys going to be causing more problems for Barry Allen, but Barry still has Reverse Flash to deal with, yet another villain named the Pied Piper (Andy Mientus) will make an appearance on this tenth episode of the season.

Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold  returns to Central City with a new hotheaded partner in tow – Mick Rory AKA Heat Wave. The duo plan to steal a multi-million dollar painting, but Cold has another agenda while in town – to set a trap for The Flash. Snart and Mick kidnap someone close to The Flash and threaten to kill them unless The Flash shows up for a battle of fire and ice. Barry tells Joe (Jesse L. Martin) he isn’t sure he should take on Snart again after the casualties that happened the last time they fought. Meanwhile, Barry asks Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to help him double his training efforts so he’s ready for the Reverse Flash when he returns to Central City. Iris (Candice Patton) deals with the aftermath of Barry’s confession, and Cisco makes the CCPD a new shield.
