Disney eyeing Kiersey Clemons for female human lead in LADY AND THE TRAMP

Kiersey Clemons is looking to join the live-action version of Disney’s LADY AND THE TRAMP to play Darling.

Actress and musician Kiersey Clemons (Hearts Beat Loud, Untitled Flash Film) just might be our Darling for the live-action version of Disney’s Lady and the Tramp.

Lady and the Tramp is about a female cocker spaniel (Lady) and a male mutt (Tramp) who meet when Lady is thrown out of the house by her human’s aunt when she’s mistakenly blamed for causing trouble. The two dogs go on a fun-filled adventure and fall in love.

If Clemons signs on, she would play Darling, Lady’s human. We’re excited for all these live-action movies as Disney has already shown us how amazing they can look, with The Jungle Book as proof of its realism.

So far, we have the voice of Tramp and Jackie, a singing Scottish Terrier, so there’s still a few more roles and voices Disney is looking for. We’ll keep you updated.

Clemons was seen recently in Hearts Beat Loud with Nick Offerman, and can be see in the Netflix series Easy with Dave Franco (Nerve) and Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2)
