Disney is going on a new live-action adventure and giving off some serious Pirates of the Caribbean meets The Mummy vibes in the latest trailer for Jungle Cruise!
The film stars Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson as Lily and Frank, two travelers in the Amazon looking for a fabled tree which the power to heal sickness… and also unleash a great evil into the world. Frank has been searching for years and doesn’t believe that the tree exists, but newcomer Lily has a special key that no one before her ever used in the search. Of course, they’re not the only ones after the tree’s power and plenty of antics ensue.
Much in the PotC style, Jungle Cruise is very loosely based on a ride at Disney parks.
