Disney Pixar is doing a schedule switch-up for two of its most anticipated sequels!
Films from Disney Pixar have become instant classic over the past 15 years or so, making the sequels the studio is pumping out pretty much inevitable. However, the major movie makers just announced a change in their release line-up, Deadline reports.
The Incredibles 2, which was originally scheduled for June 21, 2019, has been moved up a year to June 15, 2018. This is great for fans of the superhero franchise, but not-so-great for those waiting on Toy Story 4. The fourth talking toy adventure has swapped places with The Incredibles 2, meaning it’s hitting theaters a year later than originally scheduled.
Disney hasn’t commented on what sparked the change or how far along either film is in the production process.
