Disney Pixar’s COCO Celebrates Grandparents’ Day With Miguel’s Abuelita

Abuelita and Miguel share some special moments in new COCO sneak peek!

Today is Grandparents’ Day and to celebrate, Disney Pixar released a video with new looks at Coco focused on Miguel (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez) and his Abuelita (voiced by Renee Victor.)

Watch the clip above to see the showers of love, the teaching of lessons, and the universal insistence that grandkids need to eat more as it plays out between these two characters, all while Miguel’s great-grandmother, Socorro aka “Mama Coco” (voiced by Ana Ofelia Murguia) watches on.

Coco follows Miguel as he is mysteriously transported to The Land of the Dead, where he tries to discover the truth behind his family history. He’ll be meeting other long-dead grandparents and great-grandparents along the way. But he’ll meet tricksters and maybe even his musical idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt), on a wild journey of self-discovery.

Coco hits theaters on November 22, 2017.
