Every Disney animation starts as a series of concept art sketches, but it’s not every day that these early renditions make it into the mainstream. Now, Disney is releasing THE LION KING concept art into the mainstream!
With animals being a little more self-explanatory than many other Disney characters, there aren’t a whole lot of zany looks into earlier version of characters here. More than anything, it seems like the concept art focused on creating the stunning Serengeti region where Simba grows up, longing to become king.
