New York Times beat-selling author, Melissa de la Cruz, is partnering with Disney Publishing Worldwide in launching a new studio to develop stories across multiple Disney platforms. Melissa de la Cruz studio will work with new and established authors to create original content for Disney.
de la Cruz has been working with Disney for many years now, writing the Isle of the Lost series based on the DCOM series The Descendants. She’s also developing a 29 Dates movie with the company as well as writing a novel based on High School Musical: The Series.
On the new partnership, de la Cruz had this to say, “Disney Publishing has been the home for many of my novels throughout the years and I am so thankful to continue the collaboration.
