Ashley Jensen is the first to join the cast of Disney’s live-action remake of beloved classic, Lady and the Tramp. She will voice the character of Jackie, the Scottish Terrier and a loyal friend to Lady. This replaces the role of Jock from the animated movie.
Justin Theroux is in final talks to lend his voice to Tramp in the movie. Larry Roberts voiced the character in the original animated film.
Disney also recently hired Charlie Bean (The Lego Ninjago Movie) to direct the film which will be released exclusively on Disney’s unnamed streaming service launching in late 2019. Andrew Bujalski penned the script and Brigham Taylor is producing.
Jensen’s other film and TV credits include Sherlock Gnomes, Extras, and Ugly Betty.
