Can Thor learn a lesson from Doctor Strange before the events of RAGNAROK?

Doctor Strange’s involvement in the otherworldly battle of Thor: Ragnarok has never seen a secret, he hasn’t made an appearance in any of the promotional materials for the film. That is, until a new international trailer hit recently!

The Japanese trailer via EW, featured above, begins with Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) giving Thor (Chris Hemsworth) a dire warning about major changes coming to his life; a warning that the Asgardian hero largely brushes off.

The scene seems to be an extension of the end credits scene from the Doctor Strange movie, in which Thor comes to Stephen Strange while searching for his missing father, Odin. In that clip, Strange promises to help Thor so long as it means he, Loki, and Odin leave the planet immediately. It looks like that scene is happening smack in the middle of Thor: Ragnarok!
