The ocean calls to new Disney characters in the first MOANA poster!
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to Twitter to reveal the first Moana poster for Disney!
Johnson co-stars in the film as Maui, a beleaguered demigod who teams up with adventurous teen Moana (voiced by newcomer Auli’i Cravalho) on a musical journey to save her people by finding her mysterious ancestors.
With the poster, the actor and wrestler also give the details on the trailer’s release date, stating “This SUN I’m excited to share the spectacular visuals behind this movie w/ the 1st teaser trailer.”
The first short sneak peek inside the film was released in January.
Moana sails into theaters on November 23, 2016.
