Dwayne Johnson Sings Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Latest Tune in MOANA Clip

MOANA previews its first musical number in a new clip!

A new clip from Disney’s Moana features Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson belting out a catchy tune!

The song “You’re Welcome” talks all about Maui’s impressive accomplishments, as told by the very egotistical demigod himself. His animated tattoos act out the action and young Moana– who’s clearly supposed to be impressed– is mainly just confused and startled.

The songs in Moana were written by none other than Lin-Manuel Miranda of Hamilton fame, so you know you’ll have them stuck in your head soon enough!

Moana dives into theaters on November 23, 2016.

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast South Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped — and no one today knows why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes ‘Moana,’ a sweeping, CG-animated adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors’ unfinished quest. During her journey, she meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.
