Elizabeth Banks, who plays Effie Trinket, the Capitol liaison for Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, recently spoke to ABC News about her last day on the set of Mockingjay, the third part of The Hunger Games saga, which has been split into two films.
This is what she had to say about it:
“It was a sad day and I wrapped on a day when no one else did,” she told ABC News. “It was really sort of lonely and depressing.”
Aww, that is kinda lonely and sad when you think about it, especially since it’s not really a finale for the rest of the cast and crew as they still go about their business during production.
But luckily, Banks doesn’t have to be sad about it for too long as she’s been busy with multiple projects here and there, including not only acting in it, but directing Pitch Perfect 2.
