The latest looks at “Elseworlds” introduces new character twists!
There’s a new trailer for DC on The CW’s 3-night crossover event “Elseworlds” and it’s filled the hints that will make fans very excited!
The crossover will feature characters from Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl after their lives have been swapped and flipped on their heads at the hands of Dr. John Deegan (Jeremy Davies) aka Doctor Destiny, an Arkham Asylum doctor and master of manipulation from Gotham. It will also feature the return of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and serve as an introduction for Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch).
However, the trailer gives us plenty more to sink in. Firstly, we’re getting the first real taste of Dr. Deegan in action. A quick flash shows that Killer Frost is back, which is sure to elate fans of The Flash. Finally comes a big plot point– Superman in a black suit a la The Death of Superman, a major comics story line in which the valiant hero dies battling the villain Doomsday and when he comes back… well, let’s say he’s not the same.
