Epic Reads Announces Two RED QUEEN Novellas, Reveals Covers and Synopses

Surprise! Two RED QUEEN novellas are coming and they already have covers and descriptions!

Victoria Aveyard’s Red Queen shot up the top of the New York Times Best Sellers list in its first week, a movie is in the works with Elizabeth Banks set to direct, and its sequel, Glass Sword, is coming on February 9, 2015. What more could a fangirl want? Red Queen novellas, obviously!

Epic Reads has announced fall 2015 and winter 2016 Red Queen novellas to hold fans over until the sequel hits. They’ve even got shiny silver and red themed covers and synopses to go along with each.

The first novella, due out in a couple months, is called “Queen Song”. It follows the story of Queen Coriane, King Tiberius’ first wife and Cal’s mother, through her personal journals.

Queen Coriane, first wife of King Tiberias, keeps a secret diary—how else can she ensure that no one at the palace will use her thoughts against her? Coriane recounts her heady courtship with the crown prince, the birth of a new prince, Cal, and the potentially deadly challenges that lay ahead for her in royal life.

The second novella hitting eReaders on January 6, 2016, STEEL SCARS, follows Scarlet Guard leader Diana Farley as she begins the grassroots rebel movement and transforms it into something significant.

As she travels the land recruiting black market traders, smugglers, and extremists for her first attempt at an attack on the capital, she stumbles upon a connection that may prove to be the key to the entire operation—Mare Barrow.

These Red Queen novellas are a seriously delightful surprise for fans and we’re psyched!
