Watch The Captivating Book Trailer For EVERLESS by Sara Holland

Sara Holland’s EVERLESS is already promising, but watch this book trailer to be properly convinced!

If you love Young Adult fantasy, then you are in for a treat! Everless by debut author Sara Holland already had an interesting synopsis, but the book trailer is very capable of making us feel the hype for this book.

In the book trailer, we begin with a spiral with Roman numerals on a clock, almost like the opening credits for Doctor Who. Time is obviously important to Everless, which takes in a world where people buy or sell their time (aka their lifespan) to the rich in order to survive. The gripping music helps for tension, and we are shown scenes that might be important to the book, especially the scene with a castle at the bottom part in an hourglass. Sand is spilling onto the castle, signifying that time is running out.

Read the synopsis for Everless by Sara Holland, taken from Goodreads:

In the kingdom of Sempera, time is currency—extracted from blood, bound to iron, and consumed to add time to one’s own lifespan. The rich aristocracy, like the Gerlings, tax the poor to the hilt, extending their own lives by centuries.

No one resents the Gerlings more than Jules Ember. A decade ago, she and her father were servants at Everless, the Gerlings’ palatial estate, until a fateful accident forced them to flee in the dead of night. When Jules discovers that her father is dying, she knows that she must return to Everless to earn more time for him before she loses him forever.

But going back to Everless brings more danger—and temptation—than Jules could have ever imagined. Soon she’s caught in a tangle of violent secrets and finds her heart torn between two people she thought she’d never see again. Her decisions have the power to change her fate—and the fate of time itself.

Everless hits bookshelves on January 2, 2018. You can pre-order a copy via Amazon here.
