EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING release date moved up to May 2017

The summer YA romance movie is now going to be a spring YA romance movie, and EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING is awesome.

Warner Bros. made some changes in their movie release scheduled with several of it’s movies, including the movie adaptation of Everything, Everything. The movie, which completed its filming this past September, was scheduled to be released sometime in August 2017. Now, fans of the book will be able to scramble into theaters a few months earlier when it hits theaters in May. May 19, 2017, to be exact.

Everything, Everything stars The Hunger GamesAmandla Stenberg and The 5th Wave‘s Nick Robinson as Maddy and Olly respectively, and is directed by Stella Meghie. It centers on Maddy who has severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) and has stayed pretty much indoors all her life because of it. But when Olly moves in next door, she begins to fall in love and desires to see more than just the inside of her home.

Everything, Everything is based off the bestselling debut young adult novel of the same name by Nicola Yoon, and spent over 8 months on the New York Times’ bestseller list as well as getting several glowing and starred reviews, including from such companies and organizations as the School Library Journal, Kirkus Reviews, and the American Library Association.

Needless to say, we’re all about Everything, Everything and we can’t wait for May!
