Maddy and Olly have some awkwardly sweet exchanges in the latest look at EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING!

The second trailer for YA romance Everything, Everything, based on the bestselling novel by Nicola Yoon, is upping the cute factor with new footage!

The movie follows Maddy, a teen with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) aka “bubble baby syndrome” who doesn’t have much contact with teens in the outside world until she forms a from-a-distance friendship with her new neighbor, Olly. Soon, it evolves into something worth risking everything for.

Set to Skylar Stecker‘s new song “How Did We,” this trailer focuses more on the interactions between Maddy (Amandla Stenberg) and Olly (Nick Robinson) as they first get to know each other. There’s a few key snippets of conversation that will definitely leave you smiling and from there, we see the two daring to be together despite all warnings.

Ahhhh… awkward, bumbling, youthful love that defies the odds! We’re here for it, and we’ll definitely be checking this one out in theaters in a couple weeks.

In the meantime, Warner Bros. has released a new poster for the film, which uses the same sort of bright floral embellishment seen on the book cover.

Everything, Everything dives into theaters on May 19, 2017.

What if you couldn’t touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face…or kiss the boy next door? “Everything, Everything” tells the unlikely love story of Maddy, a smart, curious and imaginative 18-year-old who due to an illness cannot leave the protection of the hermetically sealed environment within her house, and Olly, the boy next door who won’t let that stop them.

Maddy is desperate to experience the much more stimulating outside world, and the promise of her first romance. Gazing through windows and talking only through texts, she and Olly form a deep bond that leads them to risk everything to be together…even if it means losing everything.
