Thank you to our friends at Panem Propaganda for getting this out!

It’s no secret that Bonnie and Twill were cut from the movie, so it makes sense that her sprained ankle when she returns from that trip also didn’t make the cut. I completely understand that adapting a novel to a movie would mean changes and deletions. From what we’ve seen from the trailers, it seems like the direction is going to be heavily focused on the revolution. Obviously we can’t be in Katniss’ mind unlike the books, so it makes the most sense that a lot of her inner turmoil will not be explored as deeply as some of us would like.

With that being said, I am very happy to hear that Suzanne Collins was involved in the process with Francis Lawrence. We’ve only heard amazing things about him and his vision for the movie. And I couldn’t be happier with what we have seen so far. His vision seems so much more grand and I thought that was something that was lacking in the first movie. We’ve heard the cast say countless times that the movie is very faithful and I don’t doubt that!

And how about that Sam Claflin? Every single time he speaks, I am more convinced that he is the perfect Finnick! He understands Finnick’s character and you can tell he really cares about him!

Sound off in the comments! We would love to hear your thoughts!
