The Fandom’s 2017 Holiday Gift Guide

Pricing varies

If you love something, there’s probably a subscription box for it! As YA book lovers, we get pretty jazzed about OwlCrate and FairyLoot, but there’s also BookLoot, Uppercase, ShelfLove, and a bunch of others to consider. Focusing on diverse reads? My Lit Box and Red.Blk.Grl focus specifically on novels by writers of color. Even publishers are getting in on the action with things like NOVLbox, the Epic Reads Holiday Box, and the Fierce Reads Collection from GiftLit.

Not a reader? How about great pop culture swag from the likes of LootCrate, My Geek Box, or Quirky Crate?

Subscriptions range in price and it’s important to know what you’re looking for (for instance, FairyLoot is a little pricier but sometimes features unique special editions and larger goodies like Funko Pop figures), but the good news is that you can usually purchase in 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month packages. Individual boxes are also sold, if you’re not looking to break the bank!
