The Fandom’s 2017 Holiday Gift Guide

$4 – $55

We don’t really cover Studio Ghibli movies on our site, however, that doesn’t mean we don’t love those classic Japanese animated movies that are equal parts beautiful, quirky, funny, and emotional. Having GhibliFest happen once a month in select theaters is one thing (they showed such popular movies like Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Howl’s Moving Castle in both the dubbed and subtitle versions.) But if you really want to show your love for all things Studio Ghibli, you’re going to want to hit your local Hot Topic store, or go onto their website to check out some of the amazing merch. They have apparel – I’m eyeing that My Neighbor Totoro dress hard – jewelry, key chains, blankets, towels, bags, and more! And it’s not just from one of their movies. They have merchandise for Princess Mononoke, one of my favorite Studio Ghibli films, as well as merchandise from My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Howl’s Moving Castle. You’ll want to get them all! If you want more, you can also try your nearest Barnes & Noble bookstore, as they also sell collectibles from these movies.
