The Fandom’s 2019 Holiday Gift Guide

Funko Pop! STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN Vinyl Bobble-Head

$8.72 via BoxLunch had a sale for all Star Wars merchandise, so you might luck out on getting it for less than regular price, however, it’s still a worthy item to purchase if you’re a Star Wars fan, and especially if you’re a big Mandalorian fan. Besides, you need to add to your Funko collection, right?

If you’re lucky, you can also snatch up the 2019 Galactic Convention Exclusive of Star Wars Boba Fett Chrome Vinyl Bobble-Head as well!

$8.72 via BoxLunch

Sure, the incident in which we find out how Hodor got his name was a while back, but the scene was just that memorable that gifting this door stop to any fan in any year would be cherished, and used well. Who doesn’t need a door stop, anyway?

$14 via Etsy

If you’re like me, and based on the fact that you’re reading this article, I’m going to guess that you are, you’re in love with the Illuminae Files. However, you also might be like me in that you initially wrote off the book due to its abnormal format. Don’t be like old me, be like new me. The Illuminae Files is beautiful and striking and tragic and optimistic. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever read before. And much like the character who says the quote, you’ll fall for Kady. Read the book, buy the mug. I implore you.

$10.51 via Amazon

Percy Jackson is the gift that keeps on giving! Relive some of the unforgettable moments from the last installment of the beloved series. Believe me, you’ll never get tired of seeing Percy and Annabeth finally get together, or Clarisse fighting the drakon.

THE FOLK OF THE AIR – Prince Cardan Magnetic Bookmark

$3.32 via Etsy

Holly Black’s final book of The Folk of the Air trilogy was just released and there are probably many of those readers who just love Cardan, as mean as he is. Well, this bookmark is just for that person and it makes a great stocking stuffer! Add in the Jude one to make it a complete twosome set!

HARRY POTTER (Or Many Other Fandom) Candles by Frostbeard Studios

$18 via Etsy

Frostbeard Studios has tons of amazing fandom candles, but I don’t know what it is about Harry Potter and Christmas being synonymous in my mind. What’s better than curling up by the fire with a HP marathon on while being immersed with the delicious scents from Hogwarts’ decadent banquets or the hominess of the Burrow?

STAR WARS Han Solo Manga T-Shirt

$19.97 via GameStop

One of the classic scenes from the original Star Wars: A New Hope film is of Han running down one of the halls of the Death Star, all gung-ho-like only to be outnumbered by a group of Stormtroopers and then running back. And this scene is depicted in brilliant manga-style on a shirt that any Star Wars fan would love to wear, including me!

THE MAGICIANS Brakebills University Glass

$5.52 via BoxLunch

The Magicians is one of the best sci-fi/fantasy TV shows currently out there, and if you’re a fan like me, it can be hard to find merchandise that shows your love for the show. But BoxLunch gave us this shot glass that is subtle but works to represent the show and its quirkiness…and constant drinking get-togethers.

THE LION KING Engraved Coaster Set

$13.52 via BoxLunch

Okay, so maybe it’s not the most exciting gift to give, or to have, but I love it. It has The Lion King images engraved on biodegradable bamboo coasters! And what better way to be rid of those water rings on your tables than using these babies!

$16.19 via Target

A great way to make a Disney fan’s day, especially if they are a collector of vinyl records. I do love my vinyl albums, including my Love, Simon one and my Star Wars one, but this would be awesome to add to my collection, as this particular translucent red LP is only sold at Target stores! Who doesn’t love exclusives!

If you really want to make a gift out of it and add a little extra, maybe consider adding The Lion King soundtrack on the Limited Edition LP Gold Vinyl, which is also exclusive to Target, which is $17.00.

FROZEN 2 Salamander Wristie

$6 via Build-A-Bear

You’ll fall in love with this little salamander from Frozen 2 so much that you’ll want to have one of your own, and Build-a-Bear has them! He’s just a little thing, but still so cute, even if it’s just for a kid’s wrist. Put it on your nightstand, or hang it up on one of your car’s hangers, or on that area just behind the backseat.

SIX OF CROWS’ Kaz Brekker “Thief” Hard Enamel Pin

$13.70 via Etsy

Kaz Brekker, our favorite thief, has a pin that you can wear all day long to show your love for him and Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows. I mean, who wouldn’t want to show their support for Dirty Hands, right? He may be mean and sometimes cruel, but we love him just the same.

CARAVAL Scarlett and Tella Book Sleeve

$16.09 via Etsy

This Caraval book sleeve is a great addition to the Finale book you plan on getting, either for yourself or your Caraval-loving friend. The art of Scarlett and Tella looks so beautiful, too, and BookBesties UK always do such a good job with these book sleeves. You won’t regret it!

AURORA CYCLE Aurora Legion Crest Decal

$6 via Etsy

This Squad 312 Aurora Legion Crest decal is perfect for fans of the Aurora Cycle duology that began with Aurora Rising. They not only have this decal, but they have several others related to the Aurora Rising books, and they have them in various colors, so you can pick and choose to fit your personal style.

Adam Silvera’s INFINITY SON Signed Preorder

$15.99 via Barnes & Noble

This book actually doesn’t come out until January 2020, but letting them know there’s a book that’s been pre-ordered for them, especially one signed by the author, would be ecstatic. Add to the fact that this is the first book in a new fantasy series by Adam Silvera!

$14.99 via Amazon

Who doesn’t need a calendar? Okay, well, with technology these days, we hardly even notice them tacked onto a wall, but with Stranger Things images, this calendar might be noticed more. It’s a great way to keep track of the days before Stranger Things Season 4 is released.

“I Drink and I Know Things” PopSocket

$13.99 via Amazon

One of the best accessories for any cell phone is a pop socket, and this Game of Thrones-themed one is perfect for that Westeros-loving person in your life who can’t seem to put their phone down.

STAR WARS 12 Days of Socks

$19.99 via Kohl’s

Practically everyone wears socks (unless you’ve got a REAL commitment to heels and/or sandals), so there’s really no reason not to jazz up your socks with some amazing Star Wars designs! There are also selections from other fandoms, but these ones really caught our eye!

CHARLIE BROWN Christmas Tree

$15.95 via Amazon

Anyone who’s anyone has watched the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, and you know how significant the part when Charlie’s tree gets a little makeover. But before the makeover, that tree was barely there. And that’s why it’s so precious. Now you can get your very own Charlie Brown tree, or you can gift it to someone who loves that tree.

Next up, $20+ to $50 gifts! >>
