Newt and Dumbledore prepare for war as Grindelwald rises in the new FANTASTIC BEASTS trailer!

The cast of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald made their way to Comic-Con with new insights, a few magic tricks (including Eddie Redmayne making everyone’s Hall H wristband glow and Johnny Depp showing up as Grindelwald to give a speech), and a trailer packed full of new footage!

The trailer starts off with Young Newt and even younger Dumbledore in a charming scene that explores exactly why Newt is the perfect person for Dumbledore’s quest before building on that student-teacher relationship. Meanwhile, Grindelwald is making moves to rally the wizards against the Muggle population and resisting him puts our heroes right in the middle of some intense action.

If they wasn’t enough, the trailer ends on a delightful scene of Newt and Jacob meeting with Nicolas Flamel, a character of mythical legend who was first discussed in the first Harry Potter film.

True to the series name, we also see the return of a few of our favorite fantastic beasts, including the Niffler, Demiguise, and a couple new additions that look prettttyyyy intimidating!
