FEAR THE WALKING DEAD Web Series FLIGHT 462 to start on day of finale

The Flight 462 web series will add more more fear for flying when an infected is on board

Fear the Walking Dead is only six episodes long for its first season, but don’t worry.  AMC has just announced that there will be a addendum of sorts to the show’s rookie season.  Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462 is a 16-part web series that takes place aboard a commercial airline.  During the course of the web series, which will begin on the day of Fear’s finale, we get to see how the travelers on the plane deal with their situation when they find one of them is infected.

Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV, had this to say about the series:

Flight 462 is a great extension of the world of Fear and will engage fans across multiple platforms with another riveting story set at the start of the fall of civilization.  We are thrilled to be collaborating with Dave Erickson and David Wiener on another piece of original content. Watching how they’ll bring one of these new characters to the second season of Fear will be really exciting for viewers to follow.”

According to Comicbook.com, one of the characters on Flight 462 will join the cast in the second season of Fear the Walking Dead.  Well, I guess we can’t say that everyone on the plane is doomed.

There’s only one more episode to go for Fear the Walking Dead, in which we’ll have the first part of Flight 462.  It will continue as promos during the airing of each subsequent The Walking Dead season 6 episode.  Each webisode will be less than one minute long.
