‘Gossip Girl’ alum Kevin Zegers has joined the cast of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD for its fourth season.
Only last month was there the announcement that Lost alum Maggie Grace would be joining the cast of The Walking Dead spinoff series, Fear the Walking Dead, which is coming into its fourth season on AMC. Now the most recent news coming from the people behind Fear have added Gossip Girl and Notorious alum actor Kevin Zegers to their cast.
At this point, it hasn’t been disclosed what his role in the series will be, and with the mass amount of diverse characters, it’s hard to even guess what side he’ll be on, if any.
Zegers has been acting since a young age, garnering attention as the human protagonist in kid-friendly Air Bud films, that centers on a young athlete and his multi-sports-talented golden retriever. Probably his most acclaimed role is that of Toby, the son of a transgender woman in the 2005 movie Transamerica.
For fans of Cassandra Clare‘s The Mortal Instruments book series, Kevin Zegers may be familiar to them as Alec Lightwood in the unsuccessful 2013 movie adaption The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
He’ll be joining cast regulars Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, and Colman Domingo, as well as other newcomers Jenna Elfman and Garret Dillahunt.
Season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead is projected to start around Spring/Summer 2018 on AMC, after the current season of The Walking Dead ends.
