Find Out What THE FLASH Is Up Against In ‘Running To Stand Still’ Clip, Featurette

THE FLASH winter finale ‘Running To Stand Still’ promises explosion results!

Captain Cold may have reached an agreement of sorts with The Flash, but that doesn’t mean he’s totally done terrorizing Central City. In the show’s mid-season finale, ‘Running To Stand Still’, we’ll see Captain Cold teaming up with Weather Wizard to bust The Trickster out of prison for a big holiday spectacular.. for them, at least!

In a clip from the episode, The Flash catches up with Weather Wizard and The Trickster at an outdoor holiday display, where they announce a plan so nefarious that even Team Flash may not be able to save the helpless victims.

Of course, Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold’s main rule is to never harm women and children, so this plan may serve as another step for his inclusion in the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow gang!

In a behind-the-scenes featurette, Executive Producer Gabrielle Stanton is talking about the return of iconic Flash villains, the early signs of The Rogues forming, and how Barry’s relationship with Patty will affect him going forward!

Official Episode Synopsis:

When Mark Mardon AKA The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) returns to break Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) and James Jesse AKA The Trickster (guest star Mark Hamill) out of Iron Heights, Barry (Grant Gustin) must stop these rogues from taking over Central City during Christmas. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) meet Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale).

‘Running To Stand Still’ airs tonight on The CW.
