The YALLFEST Schedule has finally been released, which has both Friday and Saturday filled with events and signings.

For those who have been anxiously waiting for the schedule for next weekend’s Yallfest, they can start preparing what books to bring and when, because the schedule has been posted!
It starts off with Friday’s Yawlcrawl where several authors will be appearing in some of the local shops and businesses to meet and greet with their fans as well as sign books. The Yawlcrawl starts at 2pm and ends at 4pm.
Then at 4pm, those attending will have 2 awesome events to choose from to go to.
Fierce Friday, hosted by Macmillan Fierce Reads, will take place at the John L. Dart Library and will feature book signings, giveaways, games, and banana pudding from Scott’s BBQ.
Red Carpet Preview, hosted by Penguin Teen, will take place at the Charleston County Public Library, and will involve an interactive discussion with some authors.
If you want to attend either event, registration is required. You can check for more details about these events at the Yallfest Event Schedule.
Saturday events start at 9am with a boost with the Novl Coffee Giveaway at the Charleston Museum with fee hot coffee and cider, with free donuts at 9:30am at Blue Bicycle Books under the tent.

After that, it’s panels and signings galore until 6pm, when the YA Smackdown featuring Tiger Beat begins. Some notable panels are the “Authors as Fans” panel in which cosplay is highly encouraged, the “It’s Not an Issue Book” panel where participating authors talk about their books being labeled as such, the “I’ll take Quidditch for $500: A Fan Game Show” which tests your knowledge against authors, and the “More Than Words” panel in which graphic novels, illustrations, and pictures with text are discussed.
Many more panels will be made available along with all the author signings. Warning: Be prepared to not be able to attend everything!
