Watch this FINDING DORY clip where Dory remembers her parents

Dory remembers her parents in this new Finding Dory clip where she is in a hurry to go while Marlin tries to calm her.

The Finding Dory premiere was held earlier today, so we know opening day is coming soon.  And Yahoo! has released a new clip from the film in which Dory remembers where her family is.  But there seems to be a bit of a problem.  If you remember from the original movie Finding Nemo, Marlin and his son Nemo live in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.  After the events of that film, they were able to make their way back there, with Dory in tow.  So when Dory remembers where her family lives, it sets her off in motion.

Yep, that’s right.  Dory is a Californian, and she needs to find her family in the Jewel of Morro Bay.  If you know your geography well enough, then you’ll know that California is way across the big Pacific Ocean from Australia, so that’s a trek.  That’s definitely a longer trek than from Cairns, where the Reef is, to Sydney.  And it’s something that we’ll all want to watch.

Finding Dory opens in theaters June 17th.
