After a long wait, The Walking Dead returns that weekend for its much anticipated ninth season!

Starting after a time-jump, the new season focuses on what happens as man-made society breaks down, supplies run out, and the communities surrounding Alexandria try to make their peace with each other– with very rocky results.

AMC just released the first five minutes of the season, which you can watch at the top of the post. It starts with a sweet moment between Rick, Michonne, and Judith before a montage of the major characters coordinating between communities. How does it all play out once they’re together?
