The movie adaptation of David Levithan’s EVERY DAY is in post-production and photos from it have been released.
It was relatively quiet during the production of Every Day, the movie based on David Levithan‘s 2012 YA novel, but today Entertainment Weekly just released three “first look” photos that are sure to have fans glowing with aniticpation.
Angourie Rice (The Nice Guys) plays Rhiannon, the girl in the center of A’s attention. But A isn’t a human. He’s an entity that inhabits the body of a different person each day. When A inhabits Rhiannon’s neglectful boyfriend’s body, Justin (played by Paper Towns‘ Justice Smith,) A takes the day to give her the best day with him.
However, when A is transferred to another body, Rhiannon isn’t sure what to think of her boyfriend anymore. It’s up to A to convince her to be with him, despite him inhabiting sixteen different bodies, both male and female, throughout the movie.
Because of the premise, the movie challenges itself and its viewers to explore relationships that go beyond the norm female-male couple. And this is what makes the story a unique one and one that seemed to need to be told outside the pages of a book.
Every Day is scheduled to inhabit theaters February 23, 2018.
