First Look: J.K. Simmons As Jim Gordon In JUSTICE LEAGUE

JUSTICE LEAGUE reintroduces the Dark Knight’s ally in a Batman Day reveal!

September 17th is Batman Day and Justice League director Zack Snyder celebrated on Twitter with a big new reveal!

The director gave fans their first look at veteran actor J.K. Simmons as Gotham commissioner Jim Gordon. The black and white photo shows him in a fedora and trench coat, waiting on a rooftop next to the Bat Signal with a file in hand.

It’s definitely a stylized shot, but we’d expect no less from Zack Snyder.

Jim Gordon, the character, was played by Gary Oldman in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy and Ben MacKenzie currently plays a younger version on the FOX show Gotham. It’s not clear how clear J.K. Simmons’ Gordon will be to either of those┬árenditions.

Justice League
is currently filming in London and will hit theaters on November 17, 2017.
