First Look: J.K. Simmons As Jim Gordon In JUSTICE LEAGUE

JUSTICE LEAGUE reintroduces the Dark Knight’s ally in a Batman Day reveal!

September 17th is Batman Day and Justice League director Zack Snyder celebrated on Twitter with a big new reveal!

The director gave fans their first look at veteran actor J.K. Simmons as Gotham commissioner Jim Gordon. The black and white photo shows him in a fedora and trench coat, waiting on a rooftop next to the Bat Signal with a file in hand.

It’s definitely a stylized shot, but we’d expect no less from Zack Snyder.

Jim Gordon, the character, was played by Gary Oldman in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy and Ben MacKenzie currently plays a younger version on the FOX show Gotham. It’s not clear how clear J.K. Simmons’ Gordon will be to either of those renditions.

Justice League
is currently filming in London and will hit theaters on November 17, 2017.
