THE GIFTED unveils a mutant family on the run in first teaser!

There’s been a lot of hype surrounding the pilot shot for Fox’s X-Men television series The Gifted. The pilot introduces the “ordinary” Strucker family, who discovers the children have mutant powers. After being chased down by the government, they join an underground mutant resistance to protect themselves.

Now, the pilot has officially been picked up for a full series order by FOX and the first teaser has been released!

The short video shows teenage daughter Lauren Strucker (Natalie Alyn Lind) shows off her powers to little brother Andy Strucker (Percy Hynes White) before we see some known X-Men in action, giving quite the fright to the Strucker parents, played by Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker.

According to Variety, the show will debut fairly soon, during the 2017-2018 television season. Popular X-Men movie director Bryan Singer directed the television pilot.

With a (partially limited) ability to play around with the X-Men universe, we’re very interested to see where this show goes!
