Photos From The Flash “Invincible” Episode Show Katie Cassidy Return

How do you react when a friend dies suddenly in the line of duty and then their evil doppelganger comes from their parallel universe to kill you? That is the question which we will learn the answer to in the new episode of The Flash titled “Invincible”. The episode sees the return of Katie Cassidy to the DC universe after the shock death of Laurel on Arrow. In “Invincible”, she returns as Black Siren, the evil doppelganger of Black Canary from Earth-Two, who along with Reverb (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) are the minions of Zoom (Teddy Sears).

Previewing Cisco’s reaction, for one, to laying eyes on a recently deceased friend, Carlos Valdes told TVLine, “Laurel’s death is pretty ubiquitous in this DC TV universe [so to see] a version of Laurel that’s alive, that does things to somebody’s consciousness, especially after processing grief. There’s definitely a bit of shock there and difficulty grappling with reality.”
The Flash airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on the CW.
