FOX has cast Jamie Chung as Marvel’s Blink in the new X-MEN TV series!

In the new, still untitled, X-Men TV series Jamie Chung will play the role of Clarice Fong, or as many know her Blink. No stranger to the comic universe Jamie Chung has previously played the role of Valerie Vale on FOX’s Gotham, but she is also known for her roles in The Hangover II, Sucker Punch and Once Upon A Time. Having already been introduced on the big screen in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, played by Fan Bingbing, Blink is known as a “sarcastic and lively tomboy.”

Clarice’s naturally strong exuberance has taken a hit after a sudden and traumatic upheaval of her life. As she adjusts to the new people and places that are suddenly ‘home,’ Clarice is slowly becoming herself again. Blink is an established character from the X-Men comics with the power of teleportation

The TV series will focus on a pair of ordinary parents who discover their children to be mutants. While they flee the ever hostile government they come upon an “underground network of mutants” and must survive the fight against them.

Jamie Chung joins Blair Redford who is cast as Sam, the leader of the underground network of mutants.

The release date has yet to be announced but keep a look out for more news.
