In a recent interview with in “El Informador”, Francis Lawrence, director the past 3 films in THE HUNGER GAMES franchise, has hinted that towards the end of MOCKINGJAY – PART 2, there will be a surprise not featured in the books. Hmm. Interesting. This is quite the reveal as most of THE HUNGER GAMES films have stayed true to the books, offering little to no difference int their adaptions. Without going into specifics, the filmmaker added that Mockingjay – Part 2 will include “a surprise that isn’t in the book,” which has been added specifically to make the fans happy.
“It’s toward the end of the movie,” he pointed out.
