FROZEN on Broadway: What’s Changing From the Animated Film

There is at least one plot point that will change when Frozen goes to Broadway. The adaptation is losing the rock trolls. The trolls will be replaced with hidden folk. These creatures are drawn from Scandinavian folklore and chanting in Norwegian and are described as scruffy, sexy, tailed creatures covered in greenery. The thought behind the change is to make the show less cute and more mystical.

The new additions will sing the troll’s “Fixer Upper” song as well as the opening number, “Heart of Ice”.

Frozen will make its way to Broadway Spring 2018.
