FROZEN Wins BAFTA for Best Animated Feature

Continuing its award season success, Disney’s FROZEN took home the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) award for Best Animated feature at last night’s ceremony! The film went up against DESPICABLE ME 2 and another Disney project, MONSTERS UNIVERSITY for the honor.

From Deadline:

Frozen was the clear front-runner here, and this will just continue its momentum into the Oscars. It’s nearing $1 billion in worldwide box office for Disney. Buck and Lee say onstage it took about 600 people to make the film, and Lee recalls “John Lasseter strutting down the hall flipping his hair around singing ‘Let It Go’.
