Screen Gems has acquired the rights for the movie adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which seems fitting.
Not only that, the movie has acquired two Game of Thrones actors as well. Charles Dance and Lena Headley, who play father and daughter in the George R. R. Martin-based HBO series, have signed on for the film, although on word on what their roles will be just yet.
Screen Gems seems a strong match for this literary mash-up that begins with the tangled relationship between lovers from different social classes in 19th-century England, and is complicated by a full-on outbreak of zombies.
The film will star Lily James, Sam Riley, Bella Heathcoate, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, and Suki Waterhouse.
