GAME OF THRONES has rounded up all of the Tarlys for Season 6!
Smwell Tarly has been a brother of The Night’s Watch and (until recently) best friend to Jon Snow since Season 1 of Game of Thrones, but the show never delved into his backstory too much. Next season, fans can expect to meet the Tarlys in full force!
Following an announcement that Harry Potter and UnReal star Freddie Stroma will play favored son and House Tarly heir Dickon, Variety has released casting news for the rest of Sam’s family as well!
Sam’s stern father Randall Tarly will be portrayed by James Faulkner (Downton Abbey), his mother, Melessa Tarly, will be played by From Hell‘s Samantha Spiro, while relative newcomer Rebecca Benson will play Sam’s younger sister, Talla Tarly.
Sam has evolved quite a bit since he joined The Night’s Watch, but it will be interesting to trace his origins back to House Tarly and discover their true place in Westeros’ wild society!
