See the intricacies of the GAME OF THRONES set in your own backyard!
Like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and The Hunger Games before it, Game of Thrones is taking its elaborate set pieces on the road and straight to the fans!
The hit HBO show will bring Westeros to life this fall with a major event that put fans right in the middle of the North, Castle Black, King’s Landing, and more. The tour will showcase props, set pieces, and costumes from every aspect of the show’s rich world, arranged in cooperation with GES.
“Based on the stellar work GES has done with previous entertainment partners, we think this exhibition is going to be something fans will love, regardless of which part of the world they call home,” HBO global licensing director Jeff Peters told Entertainment Weekly, who exclusively reported the news, “and we’re excited to give them the opportunity to visit and celebrate the incredible craftsmanship of the talented Game of Thrones production team.”
Here’s a rendering of what the Iron Throne room might look like on the tour:
Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition is expected to begin in Europe sometime this fall. Exact locations and schedules have yet to be released.
Season 7 of Game of Thrones premieres Sunday, July 16, 2017 on HBO.
