In episode 56 of Game of Thrones, titled “Blood of My Blood,” Daenerys takes what is hers.
After last week’s Game of Thrones episode, it almost feels like we need another week to get over the events of the shocking revelation that “The Door” dealt us, but really, we may never have enough time to get over it. Thus, we must go on and find out what else to fret over in “Blood of My Blood.”
Check out the preview below:
An old foe comes back into the picture. Gilly meets Sam’s family. Arya faces a difficult choice. Jaime faces off against the High Sparrow.
Well, we know that Meera (Ellie Kendrick) and Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright), who last we saw was still in the midst of his dreamwalk, are probably still running, trying to find safety from the white walkers. But even if a certain someone sacrificed himself for them, it’s only a matter of time before those walkers catch up to the two, right? Can we hope that someone(s) or something will save them?
We also see that Sam (John Bradley) and Gilly (Hannah Murray) will be facing their own issues when they go to Horn Hill in The Reach, home of the Tarly family.
The High Sparrow and his religious followers have been such a joy to the Lannisters and Tyrells. It’s crazy how much of a hold they have over the Kingdom, but will we see the end of that anytime soon? From the looks of the short scene they have, there might be an end to their reign coming soon, even if Margaery (Natalie Dormer) seems to finally accept her punishment for disgracing her family and her King.
And Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) has some conquering to do, but first she probably needs to deal with what’s been going on at Meereen while she’s been having to regain her high position among her Dothraki folk.
And according to one of the images below, we’ll be following up with Arya (Maisie Williams) in her role as “no one.”
Whose “Blood of My Blood” will it be?
Game of Thrones’ “Blood of My Blood” airs Sunday, May 29th on HBO at 9pm.
