GAME OF THRONES to possibly show Rickon Stark’s return very soon

Could Rickon Stark’s return mean his end on Game of Thrones?  Well, that kinda…sucks.

Did you all remember that there was one other Stark child that’s been pretty much MIA since season 3?  Well, according to MTV, it seems that someone let the cat out of the bag, and that we could be seeing Rickon Stark (Art Parkinson) fairly soon.  Maybe even on tomorrow night’s episode of Game of Thrones.

Apparently, during an interview with BBC Radio 1, actress Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) unintentionally revealed that the youngest of the Stark children would be returning to Game of Thrones this season.  Her exact words were, “Ye…es. Yes? Maybe? … Yes, we will indeed.”  She realized her err, and then stated, “Oh no, I’m literally going to get off the air and someone’s going to email me.”  Well, considering that the showrunners of the HBO series kept quite mum about that whole Jon Snow thing, they shouldn’t be surprised when their actors reveal a little bit of something they do know.

With that revealed, it seems that MTV has come up with a theory about Rickon’s fate, and it’s not a good one.  Let’s just say that maybe the loyalty of House Umber (if you recall, Osha had plans to bring Rickon to Last Hearth, a seat of House Umber in the North) is not as strong with House Stark as we were led to believe, and that a deal may be held between Stark and Bolton, which could bring Rickon into the hands of current evildoer Ramsay.

It would be nice to see how Rickon has been doing since we last saw him, but I’m not sure I’d want to see him if this is what it means.  In the Game of Thrones, it’s a very likely possibility, though.  It is only a theory, though, and we fans have plenty of them.

What do you think?
